All shot hand held in neon soaked Tokyo, this series explores the artist's fascination with the energy of urban taxi’s at night: glowing with a sense of urgency in the business of someone’s journey playing out. The way the landscape of the city interacts with the reflective surfaces is often overlooked. Juxtaposing the energy of city life with the stillness of the individual sat within it, the taxi signs themselves, once isolated, begin their own dialogue of light play.
